Hi Jeff,
You have a great site with plenty of useful information on webcams, thanks! I hope you can give me some advice?
I have setup CHILLCAM to stream from my website:

However the quality of the image stream is very poor (unlike yours)
How can i adjust the quality of the stream in CHILLCAM?
I have a good broadband connection (2Mb download, 1Mb upload )
Unfortunately, the CHILLCAM website does not come with many useful instructions or a good manual!
The webcam looks over the beach in my hometown of Strandhill, in County Sligo, Ireland. You can check the surf conditions from anywhere on the internet. The webcam also uploads a still image every 5 minutes on this page:

Anyway I hope you enjoy my website and can give some advice on making the CHILLCAM stream quality a little better!

im currently trying to make a web page but i want to put on it a page abit like a forum or a reply page but as im trying to do it for free or as cheap as possible i already have the web hosting sorted but unable to sort out for the forum/reply page im using microsoft front page do you have any ideas for me |

There are places that will host free forum pages too. Use Google to find them. Bravenet is one I think.

Just wanted to say hi!... I was looking for a communicator sound for my flip phone and found your site!... you appear to have a fair bit of cool stuff here but for some reason none of your 'Stupid Web Files' will load, neither will your chat for that matter. Anyway I hail from a small country town 6ookm from Sydney Australia. Drop a line some time and say hi!... and if you can work out the whole chat failure thingy, I'll return the favour! Cheers mate!

| Hi, i need a bit of help with my webcam because my webcam works fine when i go onto quick capture i can see myself and everything but when i go on msn messenger 7.5, i click to send my webcam and its just black and when igo into the webcamera settings half of the setting bits are blanked out i cant click on them :( so would u beable to help me in any way? thanks :D |

Try running the webcam wizard in MSN. It's a step by step NEXT NEXT NEXT setup configuration tool.

I actually have owned MACs, but since my job is tech support, it is pretty important for me to own the computers that fail most often. Its hard to make a living doing tech support on a MAC.

Currently, I am living pretty much out of the one room you see. It is my home, my living space and my bedroom. I have positioned the cameras so you can't quite see me while in bed, but I'm there.
There is a linked HIDDEN SIXTH camera and a hacker only seventh and eighth camera all available to the people who find them. |

Hello,
This is the coolest webcam site i've ever visited!
I visit your webcam page every day, it's cool watching!!
I have a question:
How can you manage to move you webcam, because as far I could notice the one that visitors can control seems as a classic usb webcam an not a sophisticated one, so I'm really curios because i also own a usb webcam and it would be amazing able to make it controllable :)

I own a special piece of hardware that doesn't seem to be available anymore. It is an unlabeled piece of metal that came with the Webcam32 RC package. Sorry.
I hope to be able to try the new Creative Webcam LIVE! with motion in 2006 and play with it.

| Hey, I just found your site sorta by accident. I was looking for some odd canadian laws for my criminology paper (prof. Rea rules CNC Prince George) and I stumbled upon your site. | The webcams are LIVE (or a few seconds behind). I can look at the monitor and see if there are any people online, or you can turn on the LIGHT and then I wave if I am around. |
